The dentist was so gentle that I didn’t even feel the numbing injection at all. The entire appointment was comfortable and easy from start to finish. I did not have a dentist in Niceville and called this office in hopes they could help me with a dental emergency.Not only did that get me in quickly, they were super kind and compassionate with my situation. The front desk is the kindest I have ever had the privledge of scheduling with. It is obvious the front desk is very knowledgable with all aspects of the office. She is a definite “go to” person for this practice.The hygienist are amazing and also very very very kind and patient. The hygienist took her time with my cleaning and explained exactly what she was doing and why she was doing it. She is an expert in her field! She gave me some tips and things I could do to have a healthier mouth. Hands down the BEST hygienist ever.The dentist is also very very kind. (I think kind and patient are 2 descriptors that apply to everyone there.). "I’ve been going to Leah Thompson-Gagnon for around 15 years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. She actually cares and wants to save your teeth. You can tell she loves her job. She doesn’t tack on unnecessary procedures/fillings. I was traumatized by another dentist as a child and I can say that when I first started going to her and told her how much anxiety going to the dentist was…she was incredibly mindful, calming, and funny. Had a cleaning done that they discovered build up that the other 2 missed, the tools they had i much preferred over the others, got some fillings done without issue, had a cavity and decay they fixed, they aren't pushy, friendly and good humor, and can't forget the pup too who's friendly as well. Greeted by smiling faces in a very clean space with little wait time; definitely had me starting my appointment impressed. The staff was knowledgable and experianced as well as kind. Karissa began the appointment sweetly explaining the tools and procedure in kid friendly language and made him very comfortable. He loved watching Paw Patrol and wearing Ninja Turtle sunglasses during the procedure. Dr. Gagnon did the fillings efficiently and was very kind to him in the process. "Dr. Thompson-Gagnon is my favorite dentist. I move a lot, and I wish I could bring her and her entire staff wherever we go! She has the best front desk and the best hygienists ever. Her office serves both adults and children, but I have never found a pediatric dentist better than her! Her hygienist, Mae, is incredible with very young children! She can get any toddler or preschooler to cooperate and enjoy their visit to the dentist. I would say Stacy is the best for older children and teens. Both of them are great with adults and will really get your teeth clean. One of my children had a filling fall out (put in by a dentist in another state), and having a baby root canal done in Dr Gagnon's office was such a great experience whereas having the filling put in by a different dentist (in CA) was a horrible experience. Thank you Dr. Gagnon for providing top quality care! Her office is also a clean and cheerful place, which is also important (and it has a kid area with toys and books in the waiting room)."
