What are Porcelain Veneers?

The thin veneers will be bonded on a patient's tooth to correct several cosmetic concerns, like cracks, chips, small gaps, stains, and much more. The porcelain veneers mimic the look of natural teeth since they provide a translucence that will allow them to blend in seamlessly with the rest of the teeth. Since veneers are customized, they will create a natural, gorgeous smile that any patient can be proud of. Porcelain veneers are also highly durable and will last a number of years with proper care.
What Can I Expect From Porcelain Veneers?
Prior to applying veneers, Dr. Gagnon will remove a thin layer of enamel from each tooth that will be covered to ensure that veneers bond properly. Once the teeth have been prepped, our team will make a digital impression of the teeth, which will be used to create the custom veneers with the CEREC machine. Once the permanent veneers are ready, they will be attached to the front of the teeth with a special resin bonding agent for durability, all in one appointment. Dr. Gagnon will adjust the veneers as needed to give the patient a comfortable and secure fit.
